What a better way to get together with people than with a Sunday Brunch. Over the next week or two I will put up some recipes you can make to have a fun one. The first thing I want to do though is some Brunch Cocktails. I have made lots of Brunches in my time and have created some of my own cocktails and some twists on traditional ones. Most of these recipes make at least 4 cocktails. So have some folks over and enjoy a nice Brunch.

Classic Mint Julep
I had this the first time in Louisville Kentucky the recipe was given to me by the bartender when I proved to him I lived in Illinois. His secret was the Grand Marnier, it gives the drink a real twist on the tradional recipe. This recipe makes 1 drink.
Ingredients
2 sugar cubes
1 slice of lemon
3 mint leaves
1 tsp of Grand Marnier
3 ounces of Premium Bourbon
Club soda
Mash mint, sugar cubes, Grand Marnier and lemon slice together in bottom of glass. Add crushed ice and stir. Add bourbon and fill to top of glass with club soda. Garnish with a mint leaf and lemon slice.
Hope you and some friends and family enjoy the cocktails.
